Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University
Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is a public agriculture university in Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad. Rajendra Nagar has one branch of this university. The main administrative office of this university is in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It has a Grade B score under ICAR.
It is one of the first and most promising institutes for research on agriculture. Founded in 1964, the university offers almost 65 courses and digital learning. It was founded through the APAU Act 1963 as Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU). Then, it was renamed after NG Range Reddy, a Lok Sabha member and freedom fighter. Besides the wide range of students, it serves farmers of 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
